Welcome to the website of Strathaven Foodbank. The Foodbank was established in 2016 by members of Strathaven Evangelical Church and

has been supporting the community of Avondale ever since.

The Foodbank is supported by the community through donations of food and funding and is happy to accept donations of non-perishable food.

The Foodbank works closely with the Working Together for Avondale group to help provide coordinated community support.

Avondale is often perceived to be an affluent community not needing support, but this is not always the way.

It can be difficult to ask for help but we are here for everyone in the community needing support, individuals or families.
